Dirty tricks not enough to stop Paul Revolution in Maine and Nevada

Presidential candidate Ron Paul defeated Mitt Romney in the Maine and Nevada conventions this weekend, capturing nearly all of the delegates at both events. Paul was able to win handily in both states, overcoming what seems to have been a dirty tricks campaign by members of the Romney team. In both Maine and Nevada, political operatives were accused of attempting to confuse Ron Paul supporters, who had the majority of delegates at both conventions, by circulating a phony slate of delegates. Had their tactics been successful, the wrong delegates could have been erroneously selected, thus affecting the final total.
