Speakers![]() Ron Paul ![]() Judge Andrew P. Napolitano ![]() Lew Rockwell ![]() Jeff Deist ![]() David Gordon | Society Without a State: Law and Order in a Free World Join Ron Paul, Judge Andrew P. Napolitano, Lew Rockwell, Jeff Deist, and David Gordon as we explore the most interesting and provocative topic of the day: Can society exist, and even flourish, without the state? The political class insists that government is needed to secure order, peace, and prosperity in society. In fact, they proclaim the state as the source of our liberty and rights! ![]() Does government actually tear down the very institutions that make society possible? Is the state truly “indispensable”? Can markets capably provide private police, private money, private legal systems, and even private forms of common defense? Consider a stateless future through pragmatic eyes, as we consider historical examples and apply clear-eyed analysis to understand how societies could secure life, liberty, and property through private organizations in all aspects of life. We will enjoy a working lunch and seminar from 10:30 a.m. — 3:00 p.m., with plenty of opportunities for you to participate and network with our speakers and attendees. Student scholarships are available. Application information here. |
